For retrieving man overboard

1) Release attachement line, 2) release hasp of lid and lift handle slightly up. When the lid falls to you, lift the container from the mounting hook and grasp the handle on the back of the container and carry the unit to the rescue spot and fasten it there if possible with the attachement snap hook. 3) Grasp the neck of the throw-bag, release the velcro band and 4) release the net overboard and throw the bag to the casualty allowing for windage. 5) Allow the man overboard to pull the net and 6) as he has steps onto the outer edge of the net and lockes his arms around the net, he will secure himself sitting in the net-bag or secure himself by other method, 7) take the slack of the lifting lines and lift the casualty up. The best way to lift a conscious man overboard who can enter the net by himself, is to lift him standing on the outer edge of the net. Always when possible lift hypothermia victim up in horizontal position.
